THE SPACE

We fell in love with part of the city and we want you to experience the same thing - that's why we want to share our house with you. 

The apartment itself is on the first floor of a modern but historic building (totally rebuild in May 2016).  The apartment is lighty and airy with plenty of space for four people (two double bedrooms and 1 bathroom). 1 big private balcony in the backward in the lounge, give you a view of the old Lisbon.

We will provide you linen and towels; the kitchen is equipped with all cutlery, espresso machine, microwave, and washing machine. In the toilette you have a hair dryer, shower gel, toilet paper, etc. There’s an iron in the apartment, etc… you don't have to bring any of those things. There are air conditioning in both rooms and in the living room. You’ll have hi-speed (100mb FTTH) wireless Internet, so if you'll need to connect, bring your devices ☺.

We will welcome you at the apartment and share all of our knowledge and recommendations with you.  We will also be on hand during your stay – should you have any problems or queries we are only a phonecall away.

We promise you will enjoy your stay, however, be warned, you may never want to leave!

GUESTS ACCESS

Price for 2, 3 or 4 people using all the house; you can use the entire home services: Kitchen, Living Room etc.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

You will get the keys from us personaly, and we will provide you extra information about Lisbon and Alfama neighborhood.

We will also be on hand during your stay - 

1) ARRIVING BY AIRPLANE - LISBON'S AIRPORT

Airport is practically in town, so once you leave the airport, you'll need about 20 - 30 min to reach the apartment (and at least 30 minutes more to get out of plane, pass the passport control and get your luggage), so you'll reach our apartment maybe 1 hour to 45m after landing.  If some delay happens, please, send us an sms or whatsapp to inform.

1.1) TRANSFERS between the airport and the apartment it’s, as extra service please let us know if are interested.

1.2) To the apartment (RUA DA FÉ nº 37 2º Floor, 1150 -  149), by TAXI: 

From the airport Portela (Lisbon) the easiest and quickest way to reach Av da Liberdade is to catch a taxi right in front of the airport. It will cost around 12-15 euros including luggage during day (during night, weekends and holidays may cost a bit more). How it works: all taxis have a taximeter and taxi drivers have to add luggage to taximeter at the begging of your ride.  You only have to pay what’s written on taximeter, nothing more than that. 

If you'd like to have a transfer or taxi scheduled for your way back (on check-out), please let us know and we you book that for you (it's a free service and you can avoid possible overpricing situations).

Rua da Fé is a tin street but cars can enter. So you can go down (a bit on the left) and drop you in the apartment, at number 37 - the apartment is on the 2st floor. 

1.3) By Public Transport: unless you are traveling (very) light, we really don’t advise you to come with public transportation, as you will have to change transports, and climb (Lisbon is know as the city of the seven hills, nice to do it, but not with luggage) you will have plenty of opportunities to try the trams (28 or the 15, the most famous Lisbon route will be your preferred way of transport from and to our apartment; or metro, to circulate in the city). If you do want to go by public transports, do let us know, we can tell you how to do it then.

2) ARRIVING BY TRAIN FROM PORTO OR OTHER LOCATION TO SANTA APOLÓNIA TRAIN STATION

Again, the easiest way is to catch a taxi, will not be more than 7 euros.

1.3) By Public Transport: unless you are traveling (very) light, we really don’t advise you to come with public transportation, as you will have to change transports, and climb (Lisbon is know as the city of the seven hills, nice to do it, but not with luggage) you will have plenty of opportunities to try the tram, the metro or other means of transport. If you do want to go by transport, do let us know, we can tell you how to do it then.

2) ARRIVING BY TRAIN FROM PORTO OR OTHER LOCATION TO SANTA APOLÓNIA TRAIN STATION

Again, the easiest way is to catch a taxi, will not be more than 6 euros. Or take the metro from Santa Apolónia to Restauradores. 4 stops and, you will reach the house in 3 mins walking.

Transfers between the airport and the apartment it’s an extra service - please let us know if are interested. Mr. Mario a private driver will be waiting for you at the arriving hall with a poster with your name write down :), in the end of the trip you get a map and you should pay direct to him.

IN-BOUND TRIP

From the airport to the house it's (20€), secure and without extra taxes for bags, our big rounds to get more money, like some regular Taxis do, it takes 15min to 20min.

OUT-BOUND TRIP

From the house to the airport it's (15€ - 6am to 10pm) or (20€ 10pt to 6ao, the diference of prices is because the driver on the out-bound trip don't need to pay for parking.
